It was a humbling day.
Wow I don't know where to start on the day of painting.
I have a lot to say so buckle up and hang on.
Well as many of you know I was originally scheduled to paint Karl and Christines house in like Nov. of last year! LOL Well weather turned cold and we weren't able to get it done. I told them not to worry I would be there for them.
Well a painting company here in KC made the promise to help out and paint the house and provide the gas money to LA to see Jay. Long story short. They were a NO SHOW.
It's all good though. I was able to come through and get it done on my own and make good on the promise.
I do want all of you to know that I ended up using a portion of the money that many of you donated to help out Karl and Christine and give them a boost.
I truly wish I could do more for them they truly are a well deserving family and I was blessed to be able to help with all of your support.
SO that leaves the question. When are you going to make the trip to LA Todd?
Well I have about $500 left in donations and now with gas at about $4.00 a gallon I am looking at needing probably another $2,500.
SO I am going to do a few Ebay auctions and look for more Sponsors or Advertisers.
I have learned that the best things in life are worth going after. So we will keep going!!!!!
Jay Leno Retires this year so it's Do or Die time! LOL
I love a challenge. I will do everything I can and we will see where God has us go.
There are so many people and friends I have made. It is about giving back and being there to maybe help a few along the journey. So let's have some more fun.
I can see and feel the trip on Route 66 to LA. I can only imagine what journey is ahead. God has a plan, but the hardest part is waiting and watching and being faithful.
