Well I finally stepped up to the plate and decided
to go for it.
YES on my Dream list I have meet the President and many of you of heard about me simply wanting to sit down and have a Cheeseburger with him over a lunch.
I wrote that down a little over 2 and half years ago before I knew we would have a President that enjoyed a good burger. lol
The Why? Well why not. I could have chose Oprah, Alan Alda, Ellen, Jim Carey, etc....
but the President for some reason seemed almost like climbing Mt. Everest to me.
I am not trying to play some political game, but I thought if we are talking BIG Dreams I don't think I could get much bigger as far as meeting someone.
GOAL: Have a 30 min Lunch. Ask a couple of questions. My Main question: Now that he has achieved such a monumental status what is it he still Dreams on doing in his life? This is a Journey about Dreams right?
YOUR INPUT: I have the Dreambook with Dreams many of you have submitted and I have written down and taken with me. I will still do this so keep sending them my way.
ALSO SEND MY A NOTE YOU WOULD LIKE ME TO WRITE DOWN AND TAKE WITH ME.
I plan on starting a simple scrapbook and taking it with me and presenting it to him over lunch. Please keep it clean. I realize we all might differ in opinion but that is what makes this country great. Use the email address for the DreamBook.
How am I going to pay for the trip? How am I going to set up the meeting? When am I going? All great questions. Click link below for my Ebay auction. I shot videos and explain those things.
I am really looking forward to meeting people along the trip like I did to LA and bringing the stories to the site. ALTHOUGH this time we might have a couple of camera people that would give us a little better quality. Still working on that part.

I just am checking in.
I tried today to do update, but my card in my camera messed up so I am seeing if I can save the files messed up. Cross your Fingers. In Vegas and leaving tom. to start trip home to different spots.
If you are new to the site and the trip. Start with Video at top of page then for the Trip scroll down to DAY 1 and work your way up to see how things progressed. Simply an amazing journey that I am still on.
Have to run and work on getting files back to do update video.

If You are new to the Website Click above Video to find out WHY I drove a 72' Winnebago named Winnie to Jay Leno in LA!
Well this was so much fun. Maybe not the complete outcome I wanted, but come on there was so many things that happened. The people that I met and danced with were a lot of fun! Especially the 3 guys from Minnesota on Spring Break, a lot of fun.
We are now getting ready for second half of the trip!
Making it HOME. LOL I will continue to do videos so stay tuned.

I don't think God could have picked a better man to go with me on this trip. Sure we saw some highs and lows and I even drove him nuts with my driving and texting on occasion, but Rick survived a week with me.
I know most of you couldn't even imagine hanging with me for a week. lol
I still don't know how my wife does it. She must really love me.

Well here we go!
The Journey Begins TODAY!
After 2 Years and so many unbelievable people and Dreams we set out on this adventure.
We don't know how it will go but it all starts here. This Morning at 8:30.
This video kind of gives you a heads up and let's you see some of the people that stopped by Chick Fil A for the kick off and what to expect these next few days.
I think the whole message of the journey is boiled down to this:
I am just a guy who found a penny, played a joke on my wife and trusted God with a Dream while all of you followed.
Simple 4 Words on a Penny apply so much to this Journey: In God We Trust.
Will Winnie break down? How will we do to have enough gas money? Who will we meet and hear their Dreams? Will I actually meet Jay Leno and bring his interview to the site?
